Restoration: the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition. Psalm 51:12 says "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. A familiar prayer, a familiar place. Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Give me the joy I had when I first got saved. Uphold me with a willing spirit. Help me to willingly surrender my life and desires to you. God is all about restoration. In fact, in the past, present and future He is actively restoring what was lost in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve sinned. God sent His only begotten Son to restore our broken relationship with Him. Revelation talks about how He will restore the Earth when Jesus comes back.
