Daily Devotion: His sovereignty.

God uses tough situations in our lives to reveal His sovereignty and extend His grace to us. Often times it is the storms and valleys in our lives that forces us to fall on our knees and surrender to Him and His will. Even though hard times are very difficult, they reveal that God is still good and that he doesn't want any of us to perish. The testing of your faith produces patience and perseverance. He is using your trial to draw you closer to Him. He wants you. All of you. Even the broken pieces of your life. He is able to handle it.
He wants your attention and will stop at nothing to get it. He is pursuing you in your trials, will you let Him in?

Restoration: the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition. Psalm 51:12 says "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. My prayer for you ♡

Okay this is very uncomfortable for me to share, very very uncomfortable. However, because of that very reason and because I believe that God can do the impossible I'm sharing this prayer I wrote about 4 years ago.  I really believe that God will provide in His time with an amazing man that will be worth the wait. ( He's a giver of good gifts, AMEN ). In the meantime, I'm sharing this because I also prayed for me in this prayer and I'm able to look back and see that in the last 4 years God has been working on me in a lot of the areas that I included in this prayer. How faithful is He. I'm literally seeing how things are working together on my end before the ring which gives me hope that maybe just maybe on his end it is also working .
