Daily Devotion: Desires.

Do you need or want what your heart desires?

God promises to give us what we need, when we need it. Sometimes a delay in our prayers is simply because we don't need it at the moment, we just want it. And I believe that Hes more concerned about our needs than our wants.

It's a blessing when our wants line up with what He knows we need❤

He said He will provide, trust His timing. He knows best!

Throughout my walk with Christ, I have been truly learning how to love others, and stop making everything about me. I have always been a generous, giving, and kind person. But because of being so generous I have been taking advantage of several times by people I would not have thought would do me like that. Sometimes the walk in Christ can be a lonely walk. You may feel like you can't relate to anyone, you may feel as though all your friends have turned their back on you, but know that Jesus is with you every step of the way. Stick with Jesus, he's all you need, he's a friend that sticks closer than a brother. God will cause people to leave your life, because they aren't good for you anymore. He is leading you in a new direction now, just trust that he is protecting you from the bad things that may happen to you. Embrace his love, and protection. Immediately I was thinking to myself like this man doesn't even know me... At the time, I just started school, and could not understand what I was being distracted by.
