God is in the waiting.

Isn't waiting such a hard lesson to learn? Well take courage. He's in the waiting. I pray that the lyrics to one of my most favorite songs in this season below will encourage your heart to keep waiting well <3

"Take Courage" - Bethel Music & Kristene DiMarco

Slow down, take time
Breath in He said
He'd reveal what's to come
The thoughts in His mind
Always higher than mine
He'll reveal all to come

Take courage my heart
Stay steadfast my soul
He's in the waiting

He's in the waiting
Hold onto your hope
As your triumph unfolds
He's never failing
He's never failing

Sing praise my soul

Find strength in joy
Let His Words lead you on
Do not forget
His great faithfulness

He'll finish all He's begun

So take courage my heart
Stay steadfast my soul
He's in the waiting
He's in the waiting
Hold onto your hope
As your triumph unfolds
He's never failing
He's never failing

Take courage my heart
Stay steadfast my soul
He's in the waiting
He's in the waiting
Hold onto your hope
As your triumph unfolds
He's never failing
He's never failing

And You who hold the stars
Who call them each by name
Will surely keep, Your promise to me
That I will rise, in Your victory
And You who hold the stars
Who call them each by name
Will surely keep, Your promise to me
That I will rise, in Your victory!

So take courage my heart
Stay steadfast my soul
He's in the waiting
He's in the waiting
And hold onto your hope
Watch your triumph unfold
He's never failing
He's never failing

So take courage my heart
Stay steadfast my soul
He's in the waiting
He's in the waiting
And hold onto your hope
Watch your triumph unfold
He's never failing
He's never failing!

A God who restores.

Restoration: the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition. Psalm 51:12 says "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. A familiar prayer, a familiar place.  Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Give me the joy I had when I first got saved. Uphold me with a willing spirit. Help me to willingly surrender my life and desires to you. God is all about restoration. In fact, in the past, present and future He is actively restoring what was lost in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve sinned. God sent His only begotten Son to restore our broken relationship with Him. Revelation talks about how He will restore the Earth when Jesus comes back. Acts 3:21 21 Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. Even in our day to day God is in the business of restoring. He is restoring broken relationships, friendships, families, finances, health, hopes,...

Hey(: Just a quick blog.

Hey guys and gals (: I've been so busy lately, haven't had the time to blog. I have been spending tons of time with God lately through fasting, reading my bible, praying, witnessing to others. It's been an amazing yet hard season for me but I've been introduced to wonderful Christians, found a church home, grew stronger, wiser, and my faith in God's will for me has increased dramatically! I have encountered some of the most difficult times of my life recently, but by the grace of God I have grown to be a stronger woman because of it! I am happy to say that I finally found a place of happiness, peace, and joy thanks to my God. Life is better, my attitude is better, I'm loving harder, trusting more. It's amazing! I've never prayed so much in my entire life as I have these last couple of months, and God has really shown me a new way of thinking. I asked him to renew my mind, and he did just that. I see clearer, I've learned to love those who treat ...

I finally got my wings.

It's been a longggggg time since I've blogged but I'm back! (: So much has transpired in my life since the last time I blogged and I don't know where to begin to tell you guys what's been happening. I'm currently in a season of restoration, freedom, and self-discovery (finding my true identity). I left home (Toledo, Ohio) July 6th to embark on a new and exciting journey in Dallas, Texas. I left behind my parents, my siblings, all of the friends and all of my extended family, everything that I knew and everything that was familiar and comfortable to me, was now in the distance. I remember feeling an overwhelming sense of peace as I traveled almost 2000 miles away from home. I remember it feeling so unreal that this a dream I've had for so long was now becoming a reality. As sad as it was for me to leave my family and friends behind I knew that God was about to do an amazing work in my life through my obedience to move and I was excited . I'll be ...
